Hey there! Fantastic concept, but could this really function?
DAGMAR
wow…but real heads know eternia is the truth. The sad fact is she is to pretty for her own good. I know as soon as she walks into a major label office half of the men want to sleep with her, the others want to turn her into Lady Ga Ga or worse Fergie. If she was a guy every label would be killing each other to get the next emenim. Sorry Eternia but you’rWay to Black when you ryme. Emenim is talented but he is still a redneck, Eternia is way to talented and gets way to into It for white america. The last thing theywant to see is there daughters tring to be emcees. Sorry but as a wise man once said “Sometimes the truth hurts, but you can’t be afriad of it.” Tour your ass of, get your money that way. Peace Darrell from the Bronx.
I know I’m way late on this post, but Darrell’s got it all twisted and I had to respond. Eternia isn’t “too black” and especially for “white america”… and just about everything else he observes is ridiculous, one-sided biased opinion. Eternia ain’t huge because she chooses to keep it real, and close to the underground scene. It’s embedded in her roots, just like other big Canadian stars like Classified for example. Eternia chooses her path and decides to (or not to) take it as far as she wants to. you could make the same arguments against Eminem before he blew up, in that hip-hop wasn’t ready for a white rapper with that amount of talent… but he pulled it off because he chose to. Eternia is in control… and yeah, she’s most definitely “the truth.”
