The video they apparently filmed a long time ago, for Game’s track with Skateboard P and JT. Is it just me or is this video basically every cliche the Lonely Island guys made fun of in the “I’m On A Boat” video? Also Game’s verses sound to me like they were ghostwritten by Fabo (which I guess is a compliment). Full lyrics below.

I’m a big fan of Kanye West’s music, and will argue to the death that he’s one of the most gifted artists of our generation. But when I saw there was a new Kanye speech circulating I immediately played out a script in my mind, with Ye saying “Even after everything I’ve been through, bearing the cross of being The Person Inside The TV, people still have the nerve to say that my video full of dead women used as decoration could be taken as dehumanizing women a bit. How can they not understand that I am an ARTIST, and that means everything I do is sacred and must never be questioned??”

And sure enough that’s pretty much all we’ve got here. The worst crime of all is being predictable, Kanye, step your navel-gazing game up!

Ideally I like my funk a tiny bit grittier, but still dope song and video. I wish they had remembered to break some laws while filming so it could get a little buzz.

Okay this is cute. This is funny. But it’s so clearly a calculated effort to “go viral,” and thus also triggers my instinctive hostility to forced memes. Anybody want to place a bet on what’s being virally marketed here?

If it’s just some improv group or something, I respect their hustle. If it’s a crypto-promo for some new Comedy Central show, I will be hella irked. (via differentkitchen)
